
Great new program for families
A new program through the USDA and the MO Dept. of Health. This is the CACFP (Child and Adult Care Food Program) at-risk Child Food Program that provides pre-packaged, USDA approved meals, snacks, and a gallon of milk to any/all children enrolled in the St Joseph School District. This provision is at cost free to all parents and is provided by the USDA.
For: Parents or Legal Guardians of all children aged 3 to 18 whose children are attending a school, pre-school, or head start within the school district. (Parents should be able to prove their guardianship)
Beginning Monday, Oct 4th and every subsequent Monday throughout the 2021-2022 school year.
Distribution of Seven prepackaged meals and seven snacks, and one gallon of whole milk per student will be from 4:00 to 6:00pm on Mondays only. Parents will not have to leave their vehicle as the food and milk will be delivered directly to them by our volunteers. They will need to give names and ages for each of their children.
