Back To School Details

Families and Students

Welcome back Badgers!

I hope that you had time to enjoy the summer and are ready to get back to school. Your teachers and staff at Robidoux have been working hard to get ready for your return to school.

I wanted to share some information with you prior to the start of school. Some information has been pushed out previously, but I want to keep you as up-to-date as possible.

  • The Board of Education voted on Monday, Aug. 9 to require masks for all students, staff and visitors in all district facilities regardless of vaccination status beginning the first day of school.
  • Masks will not be required outdoors; however, federal law requires all students riding public transportation (school buses) will be required to wear a mask. This will include day-to-day transportation, field trips, activities, etc.
  • Robidoux’s Back to School Night, Aug. 19 from 5:00-7:00pm.
    • Stop by to pick up an updated schedule and meet teachers and staff
    • Parents and students will be required to wear a mask to Back to School Night
    • We ask you enter the building from the north parking lot and enter door #4 on Back to School Night.
  • All visitors coming to Robidoux will be asked to wear a mask upon entering the building starting immediately.
  • First day of school will be Monday August 23. We will provide all students an orientation on this day. Students will receive an updated schedule and will be given time to discuss the expectations of Robidoux Middle School.
  • Student lockers WILL NOT be used this year. Students will be allowed to carry a backpack throughout the school day.
  • All students will also receive free breakfast and lunch again this year.
  • Doors will be unlocked at 7:05 daily. If you are dropping your child off, they will need to wait outside until 7:05. Please use the north parking lot and door #4 for drop off and pick up.
  • We are hoping to check out computers on the first day of school. If you did not return your device at the end of year last year, or have outstanding fees associated with your device, the student will not be given a new one until issues are resolved. Please call our office for more specific information 671-4350.
